Trojan 1000/2000/3000

The Trojan LV Dry-Out System is fully automated for safe online connection to the transformer main tank, and provides accurate analysis, degassing and water in cellulose reduction. The Trojan can be connected to any size or kV rated transformer. It can either be trailer or stand mounted, depending on your requirements. If required, it can also be permanently installed on a transformer.

The Trojan LV has three optional treatment cycles: analysis, low vacuum degassing and water removal. Large capacity adsorbent filters are used to remove water.

These large capacity water removal Filters are automatically regenerated (re-dried) at preset intervals. By regularly Re-Drying the Filters, water removal efficiency is significantly improved, which creates a strong disequilibrium between the oil and cellulose. The Filters last over 18 months providing low cost water reduction.

Utilities find them very easy to use. Virtually no maintenance is required, and the many safety features automatically shut down and make safe during faults.  An SMS text message or email will be sent to the operator informing them of a fault alarm or power outage. The operator is able remotely start / stop the system with the software supplied.

TROJAN HV (1000 / 2000 / 3000)

Like the Trojan LV, the Trojan HV has three optional treatment cycles: analysis, low vacuum degassing and water removal. The large capacity adsorbent filters are used to remove water.

The Trojan High Vacuum (HV) system has a second optional degas cycle, and a second vacuum pump with a maximum rating of 0.5 Torr that operates only during the high vacuum degassing cycle. The HV vacuum pump is sized to progressively reduce gas saturated oil (>10% by volume) to under 1% by continuously circulating the total oil volume while the transformer remains energised.  The oil is not heated by the Trojan and is processed at the temperature received from the transformer.

The Trojan HV provides Utilities with the option of full degasification, along with the Trojan’s proven ability to provide analysis and low cost water removal whilst operating unattended on energised transformers.

Trojan AN (Analysis System)

The Trojan AN provides an alternative to traditional sampling methods, which are open to inaccuracy and usually do not provide a realistic idea of a transformers risk profile. Borrowing from the technology incorporated in the Trojan Dry-Out System, the Trojan AN is a portable system that allows the user to capture data (water in oil PPM, Relative Saturation %, and oil temperature) over one or several load cycles to tell us what is accurately happening inside the transformer. The Trojan AN is simple to connect, and can be safely left unattended on energised transformers.

Trojan CF (Carbon Filtration)

The Trojan CF portable filter system is designed for filtering carbon, particulate and water from contaminated oils, such as those in LTC (load tap changers), circuit breakers and main switches.
